If you are a student in Western Canada who is passionate about advocacy work and you want to develop your skills, then this conference is for you.

During the action packed weekend you will hear from experts on advocacy, and professionals who have made a career out of lobbying, media and government relations. You will also learn how to create policy recommendations, and how to effectively communicate your advocacy message. After attending this conference you
 will walk away feeling confident and empowered to demand global change from the Canadian government.

  • Bernard Pinsky, partner and head of Corporate Finance and Securities group at Clark Wilson LLP, and has held many significant leadership positions within the Jewish community.
  • Lukas Kujawa, STAND National Policy Director, Security Analyst at the Global Security Operations Center at Scotiabank and Logistics Officer in the rank of Lieutenant in the Canadian Armed Forces.
  • Al Etmanski advocates for peoples living with disabilities and initiated the world’s first Registered Disability Savings Plan.
  • Jordan Kerbel, Director of Public Affairs and Communication for Canadian Jewish Congress
  • Emile Scheffel, UBC law student and Vice President External of the Canadian Federation of Jewish Students.
  • Christine Ackermann, Constituency Assistant for Don Davies, MP Vancouver Kingsway
